Aqara Smart Gas Detector — Natural Gas Leak Protection, Always On
Gas leaks are silent, invisible, and potentially fatal. The Aqara Smart Gas Detector is always powered via mains — unlike battery-powered sensors, it never needs charging or replacement. The moment it detects methane concentration above safe levels, it triggers a local 85dB siren, flashes a red LED, and sends Critical Alerts directly to your phone — bypassing silent mode.
Paired with the Aqara Valve Controller T1 (sold separately), it can automatically cut the gas supply the moment a leak is detected, even if you're away from home.
⚠️ Important: The Gas Detector detects methane (CH4) — the main component of natural piped gas (CNG/town gas). It does NOT detect LPG (liquefied petroleum gas/butane-propane). Suitable for homes connected to piped gas supply only.
